Got out last night streamer fishing after work last evening and even though the water was high (6000 CFS) enough to make things very difficult, we did hook one and have a couple others chase. It’s already come down to about 5000 CFS so it should be on for the next few weeks. The steelhead are finishing up but we are lucky enough to be on a river where when one great fishery stops another begins. Stripping Streamers and fishing behind the spawning suckers should provide excellent trout fishing right up to the start of gray drakes and isos.
