FISHING REPORT 10/26/16

There are still a bunch of salmon in the river. Steelhead are being caught by nymphing or bottom bouncing  behind the spawning salmon with egg patterns, trout beads and nymphs. The swing bite also continues to improve, patterns with lots of flash tend to fish best this time of year, Kevin Feenstra grapefruit leech is a great choice.

We are also getting some lake run brown trout and the fishing for resident trout on the egg bit is great.

Water levels are currently quite low, but hopefully we get enough rain this week to bump levels up some and bring in a new push of fish.
